Fatty acid metabolism - acid-base balance

Herbal formula with twelve herbs and minerals, especially dandelion root, artichoke and zinc. Zinc contributes to

  • normal metabolism of macronutrients
  • normal fatty acid metabolism
  • and to a normal acid-base metabolism.

Note for people with allergies and diabetics: PADMA GALETEN is vegan, lactose and glutenfree. 1 capsule contains about 0.06 g of carbohydrate.

Bitter & tart to start the day

For those times in life when we prefer to eat fatty or sweet foods instead of a balanced diet:

  • Refined and ready-prepared food (convenience food) contains a lot of hidden fats and sugar.
  • Fruit juices and smoothies are rich in vitamins and fibre, but unfortunately also in (fruit) sugar.
  • Barbecues, sausages and fatty sauces often taste better than steamed vegetables.

PADMA GALETEN with zinc is supplemented with herbs containing bitter substances. Bitter substances have an influence on the formation of bile and its secretion. Bile and bile salts play an important role in fat digestion.

Ideal as a duo with PADMA HEPATEN (e.g. for 1 month) to support liver function in its natural day-night phase activity. PADMA HEPATEN contains choline, which supports liver function.

Good to know: Liver and bile form a duo for fat metabolism

Together with the liver, the bile processes the (macro) nutrients from food and thus supports digestion during daily meals. The bile is needed for the digestion of fats, because for the absorption and metabolisation of fats, they must be converted by the body into a usable form.

Tradition

Ancient knowledge about a unique formula

PADMA GALETEN is inspired by the traditional recipe Garnag (Tibetan for: black camphor formula) from the Tibetan constitutional teachings.

The Tibetan constitutional teachings use herbs and spices as found in a balanced diet. Minerals and sometimes other micronutrients are also used. In this case, the micronutrient zinc is found in the formula.

In ancient Tibet, the artichoke was considered a sign of nobility and a refined way of life and belongs to the bitter vegetables, although it is actually the flower that is eaten.

The dandelion, also known as the sunburst or dandelion, stands for the warm and hot season like hardly any other plant. The seeds are so-called flying umbrellas that dance lightly with the wind. The fresh leaves are often used in salads because of their bitterness.

The name “centaury” expresses the high esteem in which this gentian plant has been held for centuries. The Romans called centaury herba felis terrae, which means “earth gall herb”, because of its bitter taste.

The stinging nettle likes to grow in somewhat damp places and by flowing water. It has a natural bond with water.
