Bones and connective tissue

  • Maintaining normal bones
  • Building normal connective tissue
  • Protecting cells against oxidative stress

Note for people with allergies and diabetics: PADMA MOVIBEN is vegan, lactose and glutenfree.  1 capsule contains 0,06 g of carbohydrate.

Cooling bitterness for the joints

Joints are the moving connections between two bones, and they are surrounded and held together by connective tissues. Oxidative stress can affect all cells, including the connective tissues in the joints.

  • When cold is experienced as a pleasant sensation
  • When we would prefer not to move a joint
  • As the start of any use of devil’s claw root (approx. 3 months)
PADMA MOVIBEN is a dietary supplement and contains the mineral manganese. As such, it acts as a companion for your health in phases when the joints require more attention. Bitter substances are considered to be cooling.

Good to know

In Tibetan medicine, oxidative stress represents increased heat energy. This can be experienced locally as warmth. Just like us, our joints sometimes like the cold more, and sometimes less. We put a lot of demands on our joints, and a bit of cooling can be a very pleasant sensation.

Inspiration

Ancient knowledge about a unique formula

PADMA MOVIBEN is based on a sLe tre 5 (Tibetan for: guduchi 5) recipe from Tibetan traditional medicine. This uses herbs and spices that are found in a balanced diet. Some minerals are also used, such as manganese in this case. Guduchi, mumijo and gentian root have cooling properties. Therefore, this traditional formulation has a very cooling effect.

The formation of mumijo, also known as the “black gold of the mountains”, remains a mystery. This precious, black-brown, resin-like substance from the high mountains of the Himalaya has a smoky aroma and consists of minerals and other substances.

Guduchi, also known by the name Tinospora cordifolia, is a climbing plant that is very mobile, agile and adaptable. This latter quality is reflected in another of its common names: “Amrita”, meaning immortal. This immortal characteristic enables the plant to spring back to life even after losing all of its leaves following periods of great heat and drought.

Yellow gentian is one of the most bitter plants known, hence its common name of bitter root. It has been collected and used for more than 3000 years in Europe and Asia. Due to its high content of bitter agents and its clear connection to cold energy, it is also considered to be cooling and supportive of the principle of movement.
