ANCIENT KNOWLEDGE ABOUT A

Unique Formula

PADMA 28N belongs to the family of centuries-old camphor formulations (Tibetan name »Gabur«).

The original formula PADMA 28N is based on the well-known 28th formula of a traditional Tibetan collection of formulas. The 28th formula came to Europe over 100 years ago and has been known as a Swiss herbal remedy for over 40 years.

Success story for over 40 years

The formula is unique worldwide and has been part of the Swiss phyto medicinal treasure for over 40 years. The most important thing for us is to ensure sustainable sourcing of the best quality raw materials. That is why we have adapted the proven formula to current requirements and needs.

Indian red sandalwood, a noble tree that is increasingly threatened, can no longer be sustainably sourced. We have investigated the situation with experts from medicine and research. Since, according to Tibetan medicine, it is a supportive and colour-enhancing component, we were able to propose to the medicines authority Swissmedic that this wood be dispensed with.

After a thorough examination in 2021, Swissmedic has recognised the formula PADMA 28N as equivalent in effect and application and authorised it as a medicinal product.
